Public organization “Association for Ukrainian earthquake engineering” (further on text - "Union") is by unprofitable public organization, which is created with the purpose of leaguing of persons, interested into solving of all questions complex, associated with exchange by scientific and technical information between specialists into industries of earthquake engineering, reinforcing of scientific and technical Ukraine potential, improving and upon improvement of national norms and projection regulations of earthquake engineering, inculcation of leading researches of national scientific schools in projection practice and building, level rising of earthquake resistance of ecologically dangerous objects.
